What should Radlett homeowners know?
Radlett grew around its station from the late 1800s. The roads either side of Watling Street are lined with large Edwardian and interwar detached houses under plain clay tiles with big hipped roofs and tall chimneys, many rebuilt or heavily extended. Modern replacement houses bring large concrete or clay tiled roofs, flat-roofed rear extensions, crown roofs and roof lights.

We remove moss by hand, soft wash the roof at low pressure and apply an HSE-registered professional biocide, exactly as its label directs. We do not pressure wash tiled or slate roofs. It strips the surface off concrete tiles and brings moss back faster, and on slate it drives water under the laps.
