Who is Hawkes Roofing?
Hawkes Roofing is a sole trader roofing contractor with 6+ years’ experience, working across south-west Hertfordshire, south Buckinghamshire and north-west London.
When you call, you speak to the person who will survey your roof and do the work. There is no sales team and no commission on selling you a bigger job.
What makes us different?
Honesty backed by evidence. Every survey is free and photographed, and the report is yours to keep whether you hire us or not. If a repair will do, we say so. If it won’t, we show you why.
We know the details most roofers skip: nail sickness on period slate, why pressure washing damages roofs, the right code of lead for each job.
What do we not do?
We don’t pressure wash roofs, we don’t cap rotten fascias, and we don’t start work without a written scope. We don’t re-thatch either; that’s a specialist trade.

Find out what your roof actually needs.
Book a free roof survey. We photograph every slope, chimney and gutter, explain it in plain English, and the report is yours to keep whether you hire us or not.
